Leverage your experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students throughout the upcoming full school year. Youll work with a diverse student caseload, making a real difference within two supportive school settings. Enjoy a part-time, contract role that offers both professional growth and work-life balance. Your weekly commitment will be 14 hours, scheduled over two weekdays of your choosing, between the hours of 7:45 AM 3:15 PM, with a half-hour, unpaid lunch. Your focus will be on helping students maximize participation in the classroom environment, providing interventions, collaborating with teachers, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Indiana licensure as a COTA or OT Previous experience in a school environment preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff Ability to manage time effectively across multiple locations Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and address students occupational therapy needs as part of their individualized education plans (IEPs) Develop and implement appropriate interventions and accommodations for student success Monitor and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide consultative support and training to classroom staff Travel between Portage and SELF School in Valparaiso as scheduled
