Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments Commitment to collaborative, student-focused practice
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to foster independence in life and academic skills Document student progress following school and regulatory guidelines Support classroom modifications to maximize student participation Engage in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
