We are seeking an enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary team at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville, NY . This is a full-time position with an 8:00 AM-4:00 PM schedule , with some flexibility. No weekends are required.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Assist residents in developing and improving the skills needed for daily functioning and independence Accurately complete and document all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each resident's needs and established plan of care Provide education regarding selected treatment procedures and functional activities to residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals Monitor and document resident progress and communicate any concerns or changes to the supervising

Occupational Therapist Qualifications Include:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Valid New York State license and credentials as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) SNF/Long-Term Care experience preferred
