Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA PlayLab Pediatric Therapy | McKinney, TX $40-$50/hour (OT) | $28-$35/hour (COTA), based on experience PlayLab Pediatric Therapy is growing, and we're looking for a passionate and energetic Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! Join us at the ground level! This role will start as a contract position to grow into a full-time opportunity as the clinic expands. Why PlayLab? Emphasis on play-based pediatric occupational therapy Focus on quality over high patient volume Supportive, therapist-led environment Flexibility and autonomy in your sessions Opportunity to be part of a growing clinic from the ground up What You'll Do Provide pediatric occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, re-evaluations, and discharge planning Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting: Fine motor skills, Sensory processing and sensory integration, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Functional independence and developmental milestones Deliver engaging, play-based therapy interventions Provide caregiver education to support carryover at home Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and insurance requirements Collaborate with other providers as the clinic grows Qualifications Licensed (or eligible) Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Texas Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy Knowledge of sensory processing, developmental delays, ASD, ADHD, and fine motor development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Ability to participate in active, play-based pediatric therapy sessions Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and floor work Ability to lift or assist children as needed (up to 50 lbs) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay:
