Job Description As a Part-Time Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in delivering top-notch care. Your responsibilities will include pre-testing patients, conducting various diagnostic tests, assisting with patient histories, and ensuring the smooth operation of our optometric practice. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and efficiency in conducting preliminary optic tests. Timely and effective assistance in patient pre-testing and history taking. High levels of patient satisfaction and feedback on their care experience. Adherence to protocol in maintaining and updating patient records accurately. Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

Objective:

Achieve a 95% patient satisfaction rate by maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions.

Key Result:

Implement a patient feedback survey and achieve scores of 95% or above.

Objective:

Reduce patient wait time by 20% within the first six months.

Key Result:

Establish efficient scheduling processes and track reductions in patient wait times documented through monthly reports. Qualifications Previous experience as an Optometric Technician or in a similar role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
