May make lenses for other optical equipment, such as telescopes or microscopes. Works in medical equipment manufacturing facilities and laboratories, retail stores, or in the offices of optometrists and physicians.

Job Description
We are a solo physician practice specializing in retina. We are looking for an Ophthalmic Technician for both screening and scribing. Nextech ehr experience is a plus. This is a four day a week position with one day off during the week. Training will be provided. If you are reliable, well organized and have a strong attention to detail we would love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- obtaining patient histories
- patient triage
- performing ophthalmic testing, including
OCT, FA/ICG
skills a plus- scribing
- assist the physician with eye procedures
- experience with Nextech ehr a plus Work experience:
- prior experience working with patients in an Ophthalmology, Optometry or medical office preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or associates degree in Medical Assistant preferred but not required
Pay:
$18.00- $24.
