Job Description

We are a solo physician practice specializing in retina. We are looking for an Ophthalmic Technician for both screening and scribing. Nextech ehr experience is a plus. This is a four day a week position with one day off during the week. Training will be provided. If you are reliable, well organized and have a strong attention to detail we would love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities:
  • obtaining patient histories
  • patient triage
  • performing ophthalmic testing, including
OCT, FA/ICG
skills a plus
  • scribing
  • assist the physician with eye procedures
  • experience with Nextech ehr a plus Work experience:
  • prior experience working with patients in an Ophthalmology, Optometry or medical office preferred.
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or associates degree in Medical Assistant preferred but not required
Pay:
$18.00
