We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Ophthalmic Scribe to join our growing team in The Woodlands. Position Summary This full-time position supports a cornea, cataract, and refractive ophthalmologist during patient examinations while ensuring accurate, timely clinical documentation. The ideal candidate has ophthalmic experience, strong EMR skills, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Document physician-patient encounters, exam findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans in the EMR. Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists during patient examinations. Enter appropriate CPT codes and maintain accurate, compliant patient records. Prepare charts, anticipate provider needs, and help maintain efficient patient flow. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and staff. Maintain confidentiality and documentation standards. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an ophthalmology or vision care practice as an Ophthalmic Scribe, Technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, diagnostic testing, EMR systems, and clinical documentation. Experience supporting an ophthalmic surgeon strongly preferred. Cornea experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Schedule•Hours of Operation Monday through
