Experienced and friendly Optician needed for full-time . This is for the back office work; Processing orders. Optician is responsible to get all orders get processed to labs on time and knowing which options work best for patient lenses. Optician will also be required to be able to work out on optical sales floor when needed during busy hours or weekends.

responsibilities include:

proper frame selection for face and RX (high prescriptions, narrow PDs, ex.); patient education on lens options; proper measurements for frame - PD, Seg Ht, OC, Base Curves; dispensing of glasses, using proper tools for adjusting frames (including rimlon repair, pantoscopic tilt, and facial wrap adjustments); capable of PAL dispensing and problem solving; and scheduling patient exams, and other light phone duties. Familiar with manual lensometry is a plus. Computer skills is a must. A passion for optical, a positive attitude, and a warm personality are required, also. 2 year work experience required as optician. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
