Description:
This unique position combines retail with a medical setting. Optician/Frame Stylist primary role is to assist patients in styling frames with ophthalmic lenses to meet their visual needs. Performs a variety of optical dispensing duties such as frame adjustments and repair, neutralizing lenses, managing orders to and from lab, and billing orders to insurance. Other duties include communication with patients via our practice management system, data entry, processing payments, and frame gallery maintenance. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced and evolving environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Two weeks of training and job shadowing provided before floor training, with continuing education to follow.
Hours:
Monday- Friday and Saturday (one a month)
Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
