This position will work at both of our locations as needed, so flexibility and a willingness to travel between offices are important. Responsibilities Assist patients with selecting frames, lenses, and lens options based on their prescription, lifestyle, and individual needs Take accurate measurements and ensure proper frame fitting and adjustments Explain lens options, coatings, materials, and pricing to patients Dispense and deliver completed eyewear and ensure proper fit and satisfaction Troubleshoot and resolve eyewear concerns and adjustments Assist with frame inventory and maintaining an organized optical area Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience Work closely with our doctors and clinical staff to meet patients' optical needs Help with Contact lens orders and trial organization Maintain accurate records and follow office policies and procedures Travel between our Green Hills and Liberty locations as needed Qualifications Previous optician experience preferred Strong knowledge of optical products, lenses, frames, and measurements Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented and able to work independently Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical/optical environment Willingness to work at both office locations as needed Position Details Part-time Flexible scheduling Work at both Northland Eye Specialists locations as needed Competitive pay based on experience Great opportunity to join a friendly, professional ophthalmology team If you are an experienced optician who enjoys helping patients find the right eyewear and takes pride in providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!
