Job Description
Are you an experienced optician who loves helping people find glasses they look great in and love wearing? Do you enjoy getting to know your patients, solving optical challenges, and working with a team that likes to have a little fun along the way? We'd love to meet you! Hampton Eyecare Associates is a family-run, patient-focused optometry practice looking for an experienced Optician to join our optical team. We take what we do seriously—but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy our work! We're looking for someone who brings optical knowledge, great customer service, a positive attitude. You'll help patients choose frames and lenses, take accurate measurements, dispense and adjust eyewear, troubleshoot optical concerns, and make sure every patient leaves feeling well cared for. You might be a great fit if you:
- Have previous optical experience and are comfortable jumping right in.
- Know your way around frames, lenses, measurements, adjustments, and repairs.
- Enjoy helping patients find eyewear that works for their prescription and their personality.
- Like solving those tricky "something just isn't right with my glasses" problems.
- Are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy being part of a team.
- Can provide excellent customer service while keeping things friendly and relaxed.
- Enjoy learning about new lens technology, products, and frame styles.
- Believe work can be professional without being stuffy.
