As a full-service optical provider, we are committed to helping our patients look and feel their best through expert care and personalized service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a sales-driven environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences. About the Role As an Optical Sales Associate, you will be the face of the practice—guiding patients through their eyewear selections, delivering product expertise, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience from start to finish. What You'll Do Greet and assist all patients with professionalism and a welcoming approach Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate eyewear solutions Drive sales through product recommendations and upselling Attract and build new clientele while fostering long-term relationships Demonstrate strong product knowledge across frames, lenses, and optical options Accurately fit glasses and ensure proper lens placement Utilize point-of-sale systems and maintain accurate transaction records Collaborate with opticians and team members to deliver optimal results Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and request referrals What We're Looking For Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales environments Optical or medical office experience is an asset Comfortable using POS systems, computers, and technology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs Self-motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced setting Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude
