The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a passion for eyewear and eye care, and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. As an Optician, you'll work closely with patients to help them select eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and personal style. You'll also work alongside our optometric team to ensure patients receive knowledgeable, personalized care.

Responsibilities :

Assist patients with frame selection based on prescription, fit, lifestyle, and personal preferences Educate patients about lens options, coatings, materials, and eyewear products Take accurate measurements and ensure proper frame fit and adjustments Interpret and verify optical prescriptions Prepare and process eyewear orders Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and basic troubleshooting Assist with optical sales and meet practice goals while prioritizing patient needs Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting optical area Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire eyewear experience Work collaboratively with doctors and other team members Maintain knowledge of current eyewear trends, products, and lens technology

What We're Looking For:

Previous optical or optician experience preferred ABO certification preferred but not required Strong knowledge of eyewear, lenses, and optical terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with patients of all ages Strong sales and customer-service skills Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn We believe our patients deserve an exceptional experience—and that starts with an exceptional team.
