Are you a skilled and dedicated optician with a passion for exceptional customer service and a flair for fashion? We are seeking a Lead Optician to join our small private practice. As the Lead , you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performing optician duties and ensuring a seamless and delightful customer experience. 5 years minimum as an Optician required.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the optometrist to establish and achieve sales targets, ensuring optimal performance of the optical department. Calling insurances companies and verify coverage. Assist customers in selecting eyewear that aligns with their visual requirements, lifestyle, and personal style preferences. Conduct comprehensive and precise measurements, fittings, and adjustments to ensure accurate prescription eyewear delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion, lens technology, and industry advancements to offer informed recommendations to customers. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address any concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Uphold all industry regulations, company policies, and standards related to eyewear dispensing and safety. Learn and support the policies and procedures for opening, closing, and operating the office. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing optical dispensary environment. Assist Manager in day to day tasks.

Qualifications:

5 years minimum of optician experience Proven experience as an optician with a successful track record in customer service and sales within an optical setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of opticians. Proficiency in conducting precise measurements, fittings, and adjustments for prescription eyewear. Strong knowledge of different lens types, frames, and lens enhancement options. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of optical insurance plans and billing procedures.
