We need to expand our patient care staff and are seeking applicants for the following position(s): Front Desk Medical Receptionist Candidates must be exceptionally friendly, motivated to learn and enjoy working with patients. Ability to multitask is a plus. We have an outstanding work environment and are looking for the right people who will work well with our current staff. Attention to detail, superior listening skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, efficiency, and compassion are all required.
Responsibilities:
Schedule visits for our 3 doctors Verify routine vision and medical insurance eligibility (via PEAR, NaviNet, Availity, etc.) Input patient data into the Revolution EHR Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to patient inquires Collect payments from patients as required by insurance Assist in direct patient care, as needed Assist patients with glasses and contacts, as needed Maintaining a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in patient care or other medical fields Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Must be detail oriented, organized and a team player Positive attitude and enthusiastic with a high level of professionalism and self motivation Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Marketing experience is a plus Please respond with a copy of your resume.
