In this role, you will provide exceptional eye care services on a flexible basis, ensuring patients receive comprehensive examinations, accurate diagnoses, and personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will help improve patients' vision and overall eye health while supporting our mission to deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment. We have two East Valley Eye Care locations; Queen Creek and Mesa. Coverage availability needed any day(s) between Monday and Saturday. Working hours are 9 am - 5:30 pm. Last patient is at 5:20 on Mon-Fri and 5 pm on Sat. This is NOT a permanent or part-time position. We will reach out when coverage needs arise and you can let us know whether you're available. Compensation will be discussed at meeting. Requirements Valid license to practice optometry in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to eye health Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach Familiarity with medical coding, billing procedures, and healthcare diagnosis protocols Knowledge of contact lens fitting techniques and medical treatment options for eye conditions
