Wellstar Health System is seeking an APP to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across our integrated healthcare network in Georgia. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, educate patients and families, and support Wellstar's mission of innovation, diversity, and community-focused care while advancing your professional growth. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings Conduct comprehensive histories, physical exams, and develop differential diagnoses Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging results Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams on care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care Document all encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record Participate in quality, safety, and process-improvement initiatives Precept or mentor team members and participate in ongoing training Maintain compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards Required Skills Patient assessment and diagnosis Clinical decision-making Chronic disease management Acute care management Ordering and interpreting diagnostics Medication management and prescribing Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Patient and family education Quality improvement and patient safety
