Riverhead, NY Compensation:
$110 - $125 per hour Suffolk Primary Health is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our growing team in Riverhead, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, high-volume practice with strong clinical support and continued growth. We are looking for a provider who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment , capable of managing a high volume of patients , and able to work efficiently alongside a dedicated technician support team . This position can start as part-time, with a clear path to transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye examinations Diagnose and manage vision and eye health conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans Educate patients on eye health and preventative care Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR Collaborate with our clinical and administrative team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York 5+ years of clinical experience required Ability to manage high patient volume efficiently Strong clinical and patient communication skills Spanish speaking is a plus
