Job Description
Gillette Children's is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or CO to join our team. The focus for this position is Spine and is based within our hospital location. This position entails no on-call or weekend requirements.
Purpose of Position:
Evaluates, casts, measures, designs, fabricates, and fits all types and complexities of orthoses/ prostheses for patients resulting in a comfortable fit and a cosmetically acceptable device that fulfills prescription treatment requirements. Acts as a resource to students and individuals in residency programs. Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize care around each patient's condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams .Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $38.86/hour to $58.30/hour, with a median wage of $48.58/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees.
