• Assistive Technology Professional (Licensed ATP) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

In this role, you will provide expert assessment, fitting, and training on rehabilitation devices and assistive technology solutions for patients with physical disabilities. Your expertise will help improve patient independence and quality of life through personalized assistive technology interventions. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' needs related to mobility, communication, and daily living activities. Design, fit, and adjust orthotics, prosthetics, and other assistive devices tailored to individual patient requirements. Educate patients and their caregivers on proper use, maintenance, and safety of assistive technology solutions. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop effective treatment plans incorporating assistive devices. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, device fittings, and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Stay current with advancements in rehabilitation devices, ICD coding standards, and industry best practices. Experience Valid licensure as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) with certification from a recognized organization. Prior clinic experience working directly with patients requiring assistive technology or orthopedics. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and the biomechanics involved in mobility impairments. Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance processes, and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) billing procedures. Experience working with patients who have physical disabilities or orthopedic conditions in a clinical setting. Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate and support diverse patient populations. Proficiency in ICD coding related to rehabilitation devices and medical diagnoses.
