Paramedic - Part-Time High-Performance Wellness Clinic | North Liberty, Iowa Looking for More Than a Typical Paramedic Role? Iowa Wellness Center is looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Paramedic to join our growing wellness team 1-2 days per week . This is a great opportunity for a paramedic who enjoys working with people, wants to expand their skills outside of the traditional EMS environment, and is interested in learning more about health, wellness, and preventative care . We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, brings positive energy, and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience. What You'll Be Doing Depending on training, qualifications, and scope of practice, responsibilities may include: Assisting with IV therapy Performing blood draws and specimen collection Taking vitals and completing patient intake Assisting providers with patient consultations and treatments Preparing patients and treatment rooms Monitoring patients during appropriate therapies Assisting with tattoo-removal treatments and procedures Educating patients on services and treatment recommendations within your role Maintaining accurate documentation Following infection-control and safety protocols Helping maintain a clean, organized, efficient clinical environment Providing outstanding customer service Supporting the clinical and front-desk teams when needed Learning additional wellness services and procedures as appropriate Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: A currently licensed/certified Paramedic Extremely reliable and punctual Positive, upbeat, and energetic A hard worker who doesn't need to be constantly supervised Comfortable starting IVs and drawing blood Excellent with patients and able to make people feel comfortable Professional and confident in person and on the phone Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn new treatments, technology, and wellness services Comfortable educating patients about products and services A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Someone who takes initiative and can think outside the box Interested in becoming part of our team long-term

Schedule Part-Time:

1-2 days per week Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview. Compensation $25-$30 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set. Why Iowa Wellness Center?
