Hospital Liaison - Respiratory & DME Services Hiawatha/Cedar Rapids, IA Area | Full-Time | Tuesday-Saturday GHR is hiring a Hospital Liaison for a unique full-time opportunity supporting a leading provider of home respiratory and durable medical equipment (DME) services in the Hiawatha/Cedar Rapids area. Unlike a traditional branch-based liaison positiosn, this role is stationed onsite at a partner hospital , where you'll work directly alongside case managers, nurses, social workers, physicians, and discharge planning teams. Your focus will be helping patients transition safely from the hospital to home with the respiratory equipment and medical supplies they need. Schedule Tuesday-Saturday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM No on-call responsibilities Full-time, primarily hospital-based position What You'll Do Serve as a key liaison between hospital teams and home-based respiratory/DME services Coordinate equipment and service needs as part of the patient discharge process Work closely with Case Management and Continuing Care teams Help ensure respiratory and DME equipment is delivered and set up accurately and on time Educate patients and caregivers on safe equipment use and maintenance Coordinate referrals, insurance verification, delivery documentation, and activity records Build strong relationships with hospital staff and become a trusted resource for discharge planning Support quality and compliance initiatives Occasionally travel to patient homes for equipment setup or follow-up as needed What We're Looking For Healthcare, hospital, medical office, or patient coordination experience strongly preferred DME, respiratory, home care, or related medical sales experience is a plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple patient needs Comfortable working independently within a fast-moving hospital environment Candidates within approximately 30 miles of the Hiawatha area preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
