A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

$60-$70 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Fitness Coach & Mentor who is passionate about teaching, leading, and inspiring young people. This role goes beyond leading workouts. We are seeking someone who can transfer knowledge, model professionalism, create structure and accountability, and help participants develop the skills needed to become future fitness professionals, coaches, and positive leaders in their communities. Responsibilities Lead safe, engaging, and structured fitness sessions. Teach proper exercise techniques and healthy training habits. Help participants develop discipline, consistency, teamwork, and self-confidence. Create a positive learning environment built on respect and accountability. Encourage participants to pursue careers and certifications in the fitness industry. Work collaboratively with Juvenile Giants staff and partner facilities. Track attendance and participant progress. Qualifications Experience in personal training, coaching, strength and conditioning, physical education, or a related field. Ability to teach and motivate youth with patience and professionalism. Strong leadership and communication skills. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass required background checks. Preferred Qualifications Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Certification. Experience working with youth or mentoring young adults. Boxing, functional training, sports performance, or wellness coaching experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
