Responsibilities Lead group Pilates classes with clear demonstrations and practice guidance, ensuring proper technique and safety. Design and adapt Pilates programs suited for various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Motivate clients through energetic coaching, encouraging consistent effort and progress. Provide personalized feedback to help clients improve body mechanics, posture, and movement quality. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including manual handling and injury prevention protocols. Communicate effectively with clients about their goals, progress, and any necessary modifications. Stay current with industry trends in Pilates, biomechanics, physiology, and fitness industry best practices to enhance class quality. Skills Proven experience in Pilates instruction with demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines confidently. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics essential for safe training. Additional certifications or experience in yoga, dance, sports coaching or group fitness classes is highly desirable. Ability to motivate clients through coaching techniques rooted in fitness sales and customer service skills. Familiarity with health club environments or gym experience enhances your ability to deliver professional instruction. Knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation for emergency preparedness.
