We do sales and scheduling for every trainer and have an in-house pre and post natal program! We are looking for an amazing trainer to go to our client's homes in Palo Alto and Menlo Park! In this dynamic role, you will design personalized workout plans, deliver motivational coaching, and foster a positive environment that encourages clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. Your expertise in biomechanics, physiology, and nutrition will empower clients to maximize their potential while ensuring safety through proper manual handling, first aid, and CPR procedures. Duties Develop customized workout programs tailored to each client's fitness level, goals, and health conditions. Provide motivational coaching to encourage clients during training sessions and help them overcome barriers. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, emphasizing body mechanics and safe manual handling practices. Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement. Educate clients on nutrition, injury prevention, and overall wellness strategies. Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR/AED operation, and liability insurance requirements. Build strong rapport with clients through effective communication, active listening, and personalized attention. Qualifications Proven experience in personal training, sports coaching, or physical education teaching within the fitness industry. Certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization; CPR and AED certification required. Knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for program design and injury prevention. Experience with fitness sales, customer service, and client rapport building is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while demonstrating proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with gym equipment operation and health club standards. Strong communication skills to motivate clients and clearly explain exercises or health concepts.
