Fall 2026 Youth Wellness & Enrichment Instructor Mindful Movements by Yogitherapi Education is a wellness enrichment program serving students in grades PreK-8. Our program combines yoga, Mat Pilates, mindfulness, breathwork, creative arts, gardening, nutrition, sensory activities, and hands-on wellness experiences to support students' physical, emotional, and social well-being. Our movement curriculum is developmentally tailored by age, with yoga and mindful movement for PreK-4th grade students and Mat Pilates and fitness-based movement for middle school students . We are currently seeking passionate, creative, and reliable Youth Wellness & Enrichment Instructors to join our growing team.
What You'll Do:
Lead developmentally appropriate yoga and mindful movement for PreK-4th grade students Lead or support Mat Pilates and fitness-based movement for middle school students Facilitate breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation, and emotional regulation activities Lead hands-on arts & crafts projects centered around creativity, wellness, self-expression, and SEL Facilitate gardening and nature-based activities , including planting, succulent projects, decorating planters, and other hands-on projects Introduce nutrition and healthy-lifestyle concepts through interactive wellness activities Facilitate sensory projects, calming tools, affirmation art, seasonal crafts, and other creative wellness experiences Lead outdoor wellness games, team-building activities, and movement challenges Prepare materials and assist with classroom setup and cleanup Provide safe movement modifications based on students' ages, abilities, and individual needs Maintain a positive, organized, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Encourage confidence, creativity, teamwork, emotional awareness, and student leadership
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or teens in schools, after-school programs, recreation, camps, arts programs, fitness, or youth wellness settings Background or experience in yoga, Pilates, fitness, wellness, creative arts, gardening, nutrition, mindfulness, or youth enrichment Comfortable leading both physical activities and hands-on creative projects Strong classroom management and communication skills Creative, energetic, dependable, patient, and able to connect with young people Interest in trauma-informed and SEL-aligned teaching practices Ability to follow curriculum while bringing creativity and personality to lessons Must pass required background check, fingerprinting, and TB clearance
Preferred Certifications & Experience:
Candidates with one or more of the following are strongly encouraged to apply: 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, Mat Pilates or Pilates certification, youth fitness certification, arts education experience, gardening/environmental education experience, wellness practitioner training, or similar youth enrichment experience.
