This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on athlete's lives while advancing your career in the thriving fitness industry. Responsibilities Design and deliver personalized training programs tailored to gymnasts needs, goals, and fitness levels Lead groups in conditioning and strength exercises Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness Motivate athletes during workouts through positive reinforcement and customized coaching strategies Conduct assessments of athletes anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and overall physical fitness to inform program design Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety protocols including CPR Requirements Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or related roles within the fitness industry Certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid are essential; additional certifications in yoga, Pilates, or sports coaching are highly desirable Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and exercise science principles Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and guide clients through routines safely and effectively Excellent communication skills with a passion for coaching diverse populations of all ages and fitness levels Physical fitness training experience including heavy lifting and manual handling techniques Familiarity with program design tailored to individual needs as well as group class planning Enthusiasm for motivating others through coaching techniques that foster confidence and enjoyment in exercise Knowledge of gym equipment operation and maintenance
Pay:
$25.03 - $30.15 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
