A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Job Description
We're growing, and looking for motivated individuals to join our team! Responsibilities
- Lead individualized and group rehabilitative exercise sessions for athletes and active adults.
- Develop return‑to‑sport and performance‑oriented programs in collaboration with clinical and performance staff.
- Assess movement patterns and guide athletes through corrective strategies.
- Provide education on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and safe training practices.
- Document athlete progression and communicate effectively with internal staff.
- Support athletes through all phases of rehab, conditioning, and performance development.
- Maintain a professional, motivating, and athlete‑focused atmosphere.
- Stay current with sports medicine and performance training best practices. Qualifications
- Prior experience working with youth, collegiate athletes, or active adults.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable operating in both clinical and performance training environments.
- Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, Landmine University, etc.).
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and connect with clients of all backgrounds and ability levels.
- Experience instructing small groups preferred.
- Interest or experience in corrective exercise or rehab support is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
- Detail‑oriented, safety‑driven, and compliant.
- Comfortable in a holistic wellness environment.
- Team‑oriented and adaptable.
