- Monroe CT is looking for dynamic and confident individuals that are high performers with a passion for fitness to join our team.
Position:
The Row House Coach will lead up to 25 participants through the Row House experience.Responsibilities:
Prepare and provide adequate warm-up, class content, stretching and cool down Availability to teach a minimum of 5 classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays) Diligent planning and preparation before each class, including music and playlist for different style formats Reliability to teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time Stay current with fitness trends and adjust to the needs and wants of each residential building. Clean and organize the studio as needed, before / after each group fitness class Ability to maintain high-energy and enthusiasm for a 45-minute class is required Teach proper rowing technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, including, but not limited to Row House University or any required continuing education Handle member concerns when applicable Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed Set up rowers and explain the class format for prospects and new clients Maintain a strong social media presence to increase class followingRequirements:
Current NCCA-accredited group fitness or CPT certification•Examples:
ACE NASM/AFAA NETA ACSM
(case-by-case) A fitness-related degree (case-by-case) Minimum one year of teaching to training experience at a boutique fitness studio or luxury gym required Background in group training, personal training or studio fitness is required Confidence to energetically command and manage a room of 15- 20+ people is required Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life Dependable with a strong work ethic

- ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music A passion for Rowing and prior knowledge of the brand is a plus, but not required!
