Salon Spa & Wellness is seeking an experienced Mobile Group Class Fitness Instructor/Coach to join our team in Plainfield, CT. In this role, you will travel to clients locations to provide services including but not limited to: yoga, chair yoga, and general movement classes to create a semi-private fitness experience for each client/group. We have a wide range of clientele, specializing with the elderly in nursing homes, group homes, assisted living facilities, and individual houses. Pay Dependent on services rendered, ranging around $150/a visit Schedule Dependent on class times, per diem to start with the opportunity to grow into a steady schedule Responsibilities Develop and adapt class programs that cater to different fitness levels, ensuring safety and effectiveness for all participants Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, emphasizing correct body mechanics and physiology principles to maximize results and prevent injuries Foster an inclusive environment that encourages motivation, participation, and camaraderie among class attendees Qualifications Certified Group Exercise Instructor with proven experience. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and exercise science to design safe and effective workouts Skilled in program design tailored to diverse populations with varying fitness levels and goals Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all backgrounds Must be able to pass a background check Must be reliable and have reliable transportation. Must have a pleasant personality
