Job Description
Position Summary The Club at Bella Collina is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic Part-Time Fitness Trainer / Group Exercise Instructor to support our fitness and wellness operations. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests, leading engaging and safe group exercise classes, providing personal training services, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness and wellness, enjoys working with people of varying fitness levels, and is committed to creating a positive and motivating experience for every member. Key Responsibilities Lead engaging and safe group exercise classes including Aqua classes, Zumba, and Mat Pilates Provide individualized personal training sessions based on members' fitness goals, abilities, and needs. Develop and maintain professional relationships with members while providing exceptional customer service. Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Monitor the fitness area and ensure equipment is used safely and properly. Provide basic guidance and instruction on the proper use of cardio and strength-training equipment. Keep workout areas and fitness equipment clean, organized, and presentable. Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of fitness equipment and high-touch areas. Inspect fitness equipment and promptly report damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning equipment. Enforce facility rules, policies, and safety procedures. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Restock towels, supplies, and other fitness-area necessities. Answer member questions and direct members to the appropriate department or staff member when necessary. Support fitness programs, special events, wellness initiatives, and other club activities as assigned. Maintain a professional, positive, and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests. Requirements Current Personal Training Certification from a recognized fitness organization. Current certifications to lead the following: Aqua classes, Zumba, and Mat Pilates Previous experience providing personal training and/or leading group fitness classes preferred. Strong knowledge of exercise principles, fitness equipment, and safe exercise practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of varying ages and fitness levels. Ability to create an energetic, motivating, and inclusive environment. Strong commitment to member service and hospitality. Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Ability to safely perform and demonstrate exercises and assist with fitness activities. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
