Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic fitness team as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, where you'll inspire and motivate clients to achieve their health and wellness goals! Duties Design and deliver customized personal training programs tailored to clients' unique needs, goals, and abilities Lead diverse group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, dance-based routines, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness Motivate clients during workouts by providing positive reinforcement and coaching on biomechanics and physiology principles Conduct assessments of clients' fitness levels, including anatomy knowledge and body mechanics understanding, to develop appropriate training plans Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining proper manual handling techniques and being prepared with first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and AED operation skills Promote fitness programs and memberships through excellent customer service and client communication skills while supporting fitness sales efforts Experience Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within the fitness industry or health club environment Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics to guide safe exercise routines Certifications in CPR/AED are required; additional certifications such as Yoga instruction, Pilates certification, Cycling instructor qualification, or CrossFit coaching are highly desirable Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines effectively across various group fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, dancing, sports coaching or similar disciplines Experience with heavy lifting techniques safely performed during personal training sessions or functional training programs Excellent coaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse clients while maintaining high standards of fitness customer service Familiarity with gym equipment operation and manual handling procedures in a health club setting Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for fitness fuels others' success!
