A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Job Description

Job Summary We are a growing fitness facility dedicated to helping members build strength, confidence, and discipline through every interaction at Buettner Boxing and especially through high-energy boxing and kickboxing training. We're looking for a strong female to lead with enthusiasm, knowledge and motivation for our boxing structured All Women's Fitness Class to join our team and create an exceptional experience for our community of women of all fitness levels.
Part-Time Hours Needed:
Tuesdays 7:15pm •will add more classes in the future - coverage opportunities available for other classes•
Pay:
$30 per class + Personal Training commission (1099 contractor) Responsibilities Lead engaging group boxing and kickboxing fitness classes exclusively for women. Provide one-on-one personal training sessions. Teach proper punching, kicking, footwork, defensive techniques, and overall conditioning. Ensure a safe and positive training environment. Modify workouts for beginners while challenging experienced participants. Motivate and encourage members to achieve their fitness goals. Set up and maintain training equipment before and after classes. Build strong relationships with members to improve retention and client satisfaction. Follow all gym safety policies and procedures. Requirements Previous experience teaching boxing, kickboxing, or martial arts fitness classes. Strong knowledge of boxing and kickboxing techniques. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Ability to lead energetic, high-intensity group workouts. CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain before starting). USA Boxing Coaching License (or willingness during shadow period). •Personal training or fitness certifications are a plus but not required.•Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Preferred Qualifications:
USA Boxing, WAKO, NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar certifications. Competitive boxing or kickboxing experience. Experience working with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
