Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. In this role, you will lead engaging, safe, and effective Pilates reformer classes that inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. Your expertise will help clients improve flexibility, strength, and body awareness while fostering a motivating and supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, and fitness training with a diverse clientele eager to enhance their well-being through innovative exercise routines. Responsibilities Lead group Reformer Pilates classes with enthusiasm, demonstrating proper technique and form to ensure safety and effectiveness. Design and adapt Pilates programs tailored to different fitness levels, needs, and goals, incorporating principles of biomechanics and physiology. Provide clear instructions and demonstrations during classes, ensuring participants understand each movement and exercise. Motivate clients through positive coaching, encouraging progress and maintaining high energy throughout sessions. Monitor client performance during exercises, offering modifications or corrections as needed to prevent injury and optimize results. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to manual handling procedures, first aid protocols, CPR/AED operation, and health club safety standards. Foster excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally, addressing questions, and supporting their fitness journey. Qualifications Proven experience in group fitness instruction, personal training, or teaching exercise routines within a health club or gym setting. Certification in Pilates instruction (Reformer-specific), along with relevant qualifications in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, yoga instruction, or CrossFit is highly desirable. Knowledge of health and safety procedures including first aid, CPR certification, AED operation, and manual handling techniques. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of clients effectively. Demonstrated ability to design engaging programs that incorporate body mechanics principles and functional movement patterns. Physical fitness training experience with the capacity for heavy lifting and demonstrating exercise routines confidently. Familiarity with fitness industry standards related to coaching, teaching exercise routines, group fitness classes, and customer service excellence. Passion for health promotion through innovative fitness modalities such as cycling or dancing is a plus.
