Open Until Filled Job Description This job classification has been designated as a safety sensitive job classification in accordance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, 63 O.S., § 427.1 et seq., (OSCN 2019), effective August 29, 2019. This means employees in this job classification can be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination if they test positive for marijuana components or metabolites, even if they possess a medical marijuana license.Education and Experience:
Applicant must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a leadership role.License and Certifications:
Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and satisfactory driving record. City of Norman Cash Handling Certification and Cleveland County Food Handler Certification. (These two training courses are done in-house). CPR/AED/First Aid training.Knowledge:
Knowledge of staff management, food handling, safe food preparation, inventory management, risk management, customer service, and knowledge in emergency procedures and first aid treatment.Skills:
Oral communication skills. Interpersonal skills necessary to be courteous of fellow employees and customers while performing duties. Ability to supervise and train staff, possess leadership skills, good decision making and organizational skills. Lead by example and have the ability to do physically and mentally demanding work.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
Assist in the development, administration and operation of the Concession department at Young Family Athletic Center. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ad-ministrative work, food ordering, staff scheduling, cash out, reports, special event planning, safety audits of the staff and equipment, staff in-service training and providing a safe and respectful workplace for all the other employees. Including the maintenance and cleaning of the Timeout Cafe, assuring necessary custodial and maintenance tasks are completed daily and in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as required.Mental and Physical Abilities:
Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with public. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry light (up to 25 lb.) supplies, materials, and equipment frequently. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lb.) supplies, materials, and equipment occasionally. Work requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.Additional Information:
