Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at our health club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fitness disciplines and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will lead engaging classes that inspire participants to push their limits while ensuring a safe and enjoyable workout environment. Responsibilities Design and deliver high-energy group fitness classes, including but not limited to kickboxing, cycling, yoga, Pilates, and CrossFit. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure participant safety and effectiveness. Provide modifications for various fitness levels, ensuring inclusivity for all participants. Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages member participation and retention. Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized guidance to help clients reach their individual goals. Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness programming and incorporate new techniques into class offerings. Promote health club services and programs to enhance member engagement and participation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym space before, during, and after classes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Group Fitness Instructor with expertise in multiple disciplines such as kickboxing, cycling, yoga, Pilates, or dancing. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of individuals. Experience in personal training or sports coaching is preferred but not required. Certification in group fitness instruction from a recognized organization is highly desirable. Familiarity with fitness sales techniques is a plus to help promote classes effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with participants on a personal level. A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to ongoing professional development in the fitness industry.
