Sales Route Driver Schedule:
Monday - Thursday Deliveries are made throughout cities across Hidalgo County. JP Ice Cream is seeking a dependable and energetic Sales Route Driver to join our team. This position involves driving a company vehicle along assigned routes to deliver and sell ice cream products while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle safely along designated sales routes
Deliver, load, and unload ice cream products while maintaining proper temperature control
Sell products directly to customers and promote featured or new items
Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist customers with product selections
Accurately handle cash, card payments, receipts, and daily sales reconciliation
Maintain inventory records and assist with restocking and inventory counts
Keep vehicle, freezer equipment, and work areas clean and organized
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
Work independently while maintaining a positive and team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Work experience in similar role preferred but employer is willing to train.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and move ice cream inventory as needed
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Comfortable working outdoors and driving for extended periods
