Pharmacist - Compounding

Category Pharmacy•Pharmacist Job Type Contract We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist for a full-time temporary assignment in Central California. This role is an immediate need expected to run through July 2026, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. Retail pharmacists will also be considered and may focus primarily on dispensing functions if compounding experience is limited. Responsibilities Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations Perform final verification of prescriptions Fill, label, and prepackage medications accurately Communicate with providers for prescription orders, clarifications, and refills Counsel patients and address medication-related questions Ensure compliance with

USP 795, USP

797, and USP 800 standards Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations Schedule & Work Hours Monday•Friday 8:15 AM•5:15 PM Full-time schedule through July 2026 Qualifications Active California Pharmacist license PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program Retail pharmacy experience will be considered 3-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred Compounding experience preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation Pay Range:
