Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist role is available for a 13-week contract at a hospital facility near Magalia, CA. The position involves providing pharmaceutical care within the inpatient setting, ensuring patients receive appropriate medication therapy aligned with departmental and hospital standards.
Schedule:
Day shift Varied start times 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical judgment and professional expertise in the Pharmacy Department Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems in inpatient care Operate within established policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication outcomes Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of California Minimum of one year hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized pharmacy setting Proficiency with pharmacy software and Windows operating systems Strong application of drug knowledge and clinical decision-making skills This contract offers an opportunity to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates with a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams are encouraged to apply.
