Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in clients' homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your experience and skills will contribute to creating a nurturing environment for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory care. We currently have a need for caregivers in the Paradise/Magalia area. Shifts Open Now in
Magalia:
Tues/Thurs/Friday 8am-12pm (noon) Short-stacked shifts offer Mileage between clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges Document care provided accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations Skills 1 year of verifiable professional caregiving experience - NO IHSS Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and patience. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Demonstrable ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs minimum Knowledge of home community care practices is a plus. Certification in CPR is required, but we can help you obtain this. Previous experience in hospice care or patient monitoring is beneficial but not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
