Interim Staff Pharmacist (Inpatient)•

Week 1: Sunday (7:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM), Monday-Wednesday (7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM) Week 2: Monday-Wednesday (7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM)

Required during nights worked Role Overview We're seeking an experienced Interim Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work independently in sterile compounding. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication use across the facility. ✅ Minimum Qualifications Active California Pharmacist License 3+ years of inpatient pharmacy experience (preferred) Proven expertise in IV preparation and sterile compounding Strong clinical skills, including: Pharmacokinetics Anticoagulation monitoring Antimicrobial stewardship ️ Key Responsibilities Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Compound sterile products independently Oversee and check work of pharmacy technicians Perform clinical functions including therapeutic drug monitoring Refill automated dispensing cabinets (e.g., Pyxis) Participating in departmental projects and initiatives If you're a clinically driven pharmacist with a passion for inpatient care and sterile compounding, we'd love to hear from you.
