Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide professional pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist with expertise in both retail and hospital settings. This contract opportunity is located in Susanville, CA, supporting a well-established medical center over a 13-week assignment with a scheduled workweek from Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and ensure proper preparation of prescriptions. Perform advanced intravenous (IV) compounding services following strict safety and quality protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy. Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations. Manage inventory and documentation related to pharmacy operations.Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license valid in the state of California. Strong experience in intravenous (IV) compounding. Reliable communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.Location:
Susanville, California Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM This role involves full travel—candidates willing to relocate temporarily to accept this contract assignment are preferred.
