Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment lasting approximately two months. This role is based on-site in Lawrenceville, GA, providing critical support to help clear a backlog of pharmacy orders. The successful candidate will primarily focus on order verification and dispensing to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.

Lawrenceville, GA Schedule:
Initial training with current pharmacists, approximately 15 hours total, spread across several shifts between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Following training, 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling available at any time within a 24/7 window. Opportunity to work additional hours beyond 40 per week if desired.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently. Dispense medications in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with pharmacy team members to address backlog and streamline workflow. Maintain thorough documentation and uphold pharmacy best practices.
Qualifications:
Active Georgia pharmacist license is required. Maryland pharmacist license is preferred but not necessary. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication dispensing procedures. Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and work independently when required. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
