This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care in a hospital environment, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions for hospital inpatients and outpatients Review patient medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications and proper usage Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care plans Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the pharmacy Participate in medication inventory management and restocking activitiesQualifications:
Valid pharmacist licensure in the United States Previous experience working in hospital and outpatient pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication therapies, and drug interactions Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamLocation:
