Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An inpatient pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment starting September 21st for a duration of approximately 13 weeks. This role involves a mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, providing a dynamic and engaging schedule. First-time travel pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians and performing thorough checking and verification of medications within an inpatient hospital setting. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Active Kansas pharmacist license required at the time of application submission Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
