  • Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Seeking a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist for per diem assignments to support specialty pharmacy operations focused on
HIV/AIDS
medication management. This role requires providing reliable coverage for shifts through the summer and into the holiday season, including coverage for sick calls. The position offers an opportunity to apply retail pharmacy skills in a specialized healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform typical retail pharmacy duties: filling, dispensing, and verifying prescriptions. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with regulations. Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing and inventory management. Provide exceptional patient care with attention to
HIV/AIDS
medication regimens. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all pharmacy laws and standards.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current and valid Kentucky pharmacist license. Experience as a retail pharmacist with expertise in filling and dispensing procedures. Familiarity or prior experience with
HIV/AIDS
specialty medications is highly advantageous. Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Wednesday, 5/13: 9:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Thursday, 5/14: 9:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Friday, 5/15: 10:00 AM
  • 2:00 PM
  • Optional 4-hour paid training may be scheduled before coverage dates.
