Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide onsite support in a specialty pharmacy environment focused on medication therapy management (MTM). The role requires working onsite in Denham Springs, LA, with primary duties in Baton Rouge. The position is contract to hire, beginning with a 13-week assignment that may extend or convert to direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and dispense medications accurately within a specialty pharmacy MTM setting Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal policies Conduct clinical reviews and support patient counseling as needed Maintain thorough documentation of services provided

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active pharmacist license in Louisiana is required Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a pharmacy license in at least one of the following states with willingness to reciprocate licensing: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming Previous experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and MTM procedures

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Onsite work required; remote work is not available Candidates with the relevant licenses and skills in specialty pharmacy are encouraged to apply for this position.
