Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks, offering 24-40 hours per week. This role involves working primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some weekend hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform Long Term Care Pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety. Manage complex medication regimens and provide specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare providers to support optimal therapeutic outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on medication use and adherence. Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Immunization Certification required. CPR Certification required. PharmD degree or MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and long term care. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage patient cases.
