Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A specialty retail pharmacy focusing on HIV/AIDS and 340B medications requires per diem pharmacist coverage from August 20th through September 17th. This position is located in Jackson, MS, with an emphasis on providing expert care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification and patient counseling. Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations. Manage specialty
HIV/AIDS
medication dispensing with accuracy and care. Utilize Pioneer Rx software to process prescriptions and maintain records. Collaborate with a dedicated pharmacy technician for support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience. Experience with
HIV/AIDS
specialty medications is highly preferred; candidates should detail their specific experience with these treatments. Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus; candidates should indicate any previous usage. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
