Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosage, interactions, and contraindications using advanced pharmacy software systems. Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop effective medication management plans Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient service. Stay current with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation updates, and healthcare compliance standards to ensure operational integrity. Administer immunizations and participate in patient education initiatives related to medication safety and health promotion. Support hospital or LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy operations by managing medication distribution processes within acute care settings. Qualifications Valid licensure as a registered Pharmacist with active state certification and immunization privelege. Experience managing pharmacy teams or supervising pharmacy technicians in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills focused on client interaction, customer service excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of healthcare compliance policies including HIPAA regulations and pharmaceutical regulatory standards governing drug administration and inventory management.
